"Hoedown at the Rendezvous" Print by Valerie Waldorf

$10.00

Hoedown At The Rendezvous 1982 print by the late Valerie Waldorf. This is one of the most amazing works of art I ever saw Val do. The three figures playing musical instruments and the two guys dancing were from photos taken in broad daylight in a parking lot at Friendship, Indiana. The two guys dancing were there also, and the bald headed one clapping in time with the music was created out of Val’s imagination to fill in the foreground of the composition. The scenes in the background were drawn from photos taken of the extensive primitive camp at the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association’s nation shoots. Again, these were daylight pictures. All of this she brought together in an after-dark setting with campfires and candle lanterns as the only sources of light!  Size, including white border, 22 x 17 inches. Price, $10.
