21-311 CASCADE KNIFE BLADE This point was made from some dull, black material, if I remember right, that came from the Burns aria in Oregon. It could even be called a high grade Dacite. These lanceolate shaped bifaces are said to date from the Early to Middle Archaic, 6000-2000 BC in the Northwest and upper Great Basin. This is the broader variety that might be used as a knife blade when freshly made. It has a nice oblique pressure flake finish on both faces! Length, 4 inches. Price, $30.
