23-81 SMALL KIMBERLEY POINT  Made from heat treated Australian Mook jasper. These were the last in a long series of leaf-shaped points made by the Aborigines. In contact times many were made from telegraph insulator glass and bottle glass. The last maker of the best points of this type died in the 1950s. I don't know if the tradition was passed on or not. The quality of my replicas are on a par with the old ones! This was made from some of the last small pieces of this material left in my stash! Size, 1 1/4 inches. Price, $6.
