25 D-778 SMALL TYPE IV-D DAGGER made from Indiana Hornstone. This dagger was made from one of the last suitable pieces of this material I had in my stash. After this there will be no more! Hornstone is said to be some of the best flints in the world, and I agree. I've worked tons of it when I had it many years ago, however, it may be good for Turkeytails and big Adina points, but not so good for daggers. When making this piece I was reminded why! I had a lot of trouble getting past an open crystal pocket in the center of the nodule while trying to preserve some of the light color material of the "bullseye" so often found in this material. As you can see it is right in the shoulder area of the blade! Length, 5 3/8 inches, price $100. SOLD!
SORRY, CANNOT BE SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE US!
