25 D-790 TYPE I-B DAGGER made from Dacite. This could also be typed as a Haskett blade, but is better made with pressure finish and has all the attributes of a Type I-B dagger with the blade being widest in the middle and the workmanship is better than most of the western pieces of the Haskett type. Also, the handle edges are ground. Dacite is a grainer, more chert-like form of obsidian. I have quite a bit of this material left in my stash, I haven't messed with it in several years, and plan on using a lot of it for daggers. This was a quick test piece to get back the "feel" for it.
